BEETHOVEN FEAST at EPSOM HOUSE

  • Epsom House 333 Brighton Road Pontville, Tasmania (map)

Beautiful music in stunning venues — what more could we wish for? We are delighted
to present Beethoven’s Piano Trios in two weekend-long mini festivals at Epsom House in Tasmania and at the State Library of South Australia.

At Epsom House Seraphim will take you hand in hand on a rare and intimate journey. Explore the rhetoric a the heart of Beethoven’s musical language. How does he create a narrative and stir such depth of emotion? Bookings include all concerts, pre-concert talks, food and wine.  We are excited to be taking this rare journey into the complete piano trios of Beethoven, in a venue so suited to their intimacy and brilliance

Experience an intimate weekend immersed in chamber music played in its natural setting. At Epsom, good food, wine and music are perfect partners – whether enjoying a quiet glass in a shady nook or the convivial atmosphere of our long table in the courtyard – this is truly ‘gourmet music’.  Epsom is close to the Coal River wine-growing region and throughout the weekend you will be treated to some of Australia’s best cool climate wines.

Concerts in the Ballroom at Epsom are part of a tradition stretching back more than 170 years. Epsom has hosted some of Australia’s best classical and jazz musicians and fine international ensembles. Join us to continue the tradition! - Geoffrey and Jacqui Robertson
